Tascam CD-200SB Professional Rack-Mount CD, USB & SD Card Player
The Tascam CD-200SB is a Professional 2U Rack-Mount CD, USB and SD Card Player with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs, S/PDIF coaxial and optical digital outputs, ±14% pitch control and CD dubbing to USB or SD — combining the trusted CD-5020A transport with solid-state media playback for installations, education, gyms and PA applications.
The Tascam CD-200SB is the next evolution in the top-selling CD-200 series — designed to meet the increasing demand for solid-state and USB media compatibility alongside professional CD playback in a single, reliable and easy-to-operate rack-mount unit. Building on the professional qualities, build quality, reliability and ease-of-use of the industry-trusted CD-200 series, the CD-200SB adds SD/SDHC card and USB flash drive playback to the proven TEAC CD-5020A transport platform — providing a versatile and comprehensive media player for professional installations, PA systems, education and commercial audio environments where both physical disc and solid-state media sources are required from a single rack-mount unit.
Versatile Format Support & Solid-State Playback
The CD-200SB supports CD-DA, WAV and MP3 playback from standard audio and data CDs, alongside WAV, MP3, MP2, WMA and AAC file playback from SD/SDHC cards and USB flash drives — covering virtually every common audio file format used in professional and commercial audio applications. Direct access to ten user-defined folders on SD/SDHC and USB media allows frequently used content to be accessed instantly from the front panel without browsing through folder structures, and folder repeat playback mode ensures continuous loop playback from a selected folder on data CDs, SD/SDHC or USB for background music and installation applications. CD-Text and ID3/WMA/AAC tag display provides clear track, artist and album information across all supported media and formats.
CD Dubbing to USB & SD Card
The CD-200SB allows audio from a CD to be dubbed directly to a connected USB flash drive or SD/SDHC card in WAV or MP3 format — at 44.1kHz/16-bit WAV or MP3 at 44.1/48kHz in 64, 128 or 256kbps — without the need for a computer. This makes the CD-200SB particularly practical in educational environments where teachers need to transfer CD content to SD or USB for use on other devices, and in installation environments where CD content needs to be archived to solid-state media for ongoing playback.
Ideal for Education, Gyms & Fitness Studios
The CD-200SB is a natural fit for schools, colleges and universities where a versatile, reliable and straightforward rack-mount media player is required for music rooms, drama studios, assembly halls and lecture theatres — with the added flexibility of SD card and USB playback alongside CD. For gyms, fitness studios, spin studios and leisure centres, the combination of CD playback, USB and SD card support in a single unit gives instructors complete source flexibility, whilst the ±14% pitch control is particularly valuable for fitness applications where tempo adjustment to match class intensity is a regular requirement. The wireless remote control enables full playback management from anywhere in the room.
Professional Connectivity & Reliable Transport
The TEAC CD-5020A transport provides quiet playback, smooth loading and long-term reliability, with a 10-second shockproof memory buffer for uninterrupted playback in live and installed environments. Balanced XLR outputs at +4dBu nominal level are provided alongside unbalanced RCA outputs at -10dBV, with both RCA coaxial and optical S/PDIF digital outputs for flexible connectivity into any professional installation. A ¼" headphone output with dedicated monitoring capability and ±14% pitch control on CD playback complete a thoroughly well-specified professional media player for any commercial installation environment.

60 Day Returns Policy
We ask that you follow these guidelines to help us process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible:
- Please keep your order reference to hand. This confirms your original order and gives us the necessary details to authorise the product's return.
- Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 (or email info@audiovolt.co.uk). We will then send you an RMA number and a returns form, which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s).
- If the order has been unpacked, re-package it to ensure that it is being returned in its original condition. Please make sure all items relating to the product are returned, including manuals and cables.
- When returning an item, please obtain a proof of postage receipt from the courier.
Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.
Please note: our returns policy is quite straightforward, but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:
- It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don't tell us you want to make a return, we don't know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.
- If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will assume that you are intending to keep it, and we will not authorise a return.
- We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72 hours of the return being received by us.
- Returned goods are liable for a restocking fee of 15% towards handling and repackaging if the order is not returned in its original, unopened packaging. This charge will be subject to our inspection of the returned goods.
- Delivery charges will not be refunded unless the delivered goods are faulty.
- Replacement products are dispatched immediately after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Audio Volt.
- Items that develop a fault within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 if you believe your item has developed a fault.
Finally, please remember that notifying us of your intention to apply for a return, saving the delivery paperwork and keeping the order in its original packaging will help both you and Audio Volt to process the return quickly.
