The Martin Audio CDD10 is a compact, high-output wall speaker designed for demanding foreground music applications.
The Martin Audio CDD10 is a very compact two-way passive loudspeaker system designed to deliver powerful, full-range sound from a discreet enclosure. It is uniquely suited to foreground music environments such as music bars, nightclubs and live venues, as well as architectural installations that require higher sound pressure levels from a small-format speaker.
Utilising Martin Audio’s patented Coaxial Differential Dispersion™ (CDD) technology, the CDD10 delivers more consistent audience coverage than conventional fixed-dispersion loudspeakers. This approach projects relatively more output towards the rear of the listening area while maintaining wide horizontal coverage close to the speaker, ensuring even sound distribution across the space.
The CDD10 features a high-performance 10” (250mm) low-frequency driver and a 1” exit high-frequency compression driver in a true coaxial configuration. This point-source design eliminates off-axis frequency anomalies commonly associated with non-coaxial systems, resulting in smooth and coherent sound reproduction throughout the coverage area. The integrated static waveguide further enhances high-frequency dispersion, maintaining consistent coverage at higher frequencies and reducing beaming.
Housed in a sleek composite enclosure, the CDD10 can be mounted in either horizontal or vertical orientation, with the coaxial driver easily rotatable by removing the screw-free protective grille. The speaker can be wall-mounted using an optional wall bracket, suspended from a ceiling via integrated eyebolt points, or flown using a horizontal yoke bracket, providing excellent flexibility for permanent installations.
With a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and power handling of 250W AES, the CDD10 is capable of delivering high sound pressure levels suitable for foreground music and small performance spaces. When paired with a subwoofer such as the Martin Audio SX118 or CX218, the CDD10 can form a compact yet powerful small dancefloor system. It is finished in black (RAL9005) or white (RAL9016) as standard and can be supplied in any RAL colour to order.
