It offers a transmission range of up to 100 metres across 12 selectable channels in the 823-832MHz and 863-865MHz bands. Up to six U300 systems can run at the same time in the same frequency band without interference, so it works for a single vocalist or a multi-system event. It suits bands, DJs, presenters, schools, venues and houses of worship.

UHF Diversity, ASC Infrared Sync & Pilot Tone Squelch

The FM diversity receiver uses two fixed antennas to select the strongest available signal, reducing the risk of dropouts and interference. One-touch ASC infrared synchronisation pairs the handheld transmitter and receiver instantly, so there is no manual frequency matching. Pilot tone squelch keeps the output silent when no transmitter signal is present, which removes unwanted noise between songs and during setup. The receiver has a 104dB signal-to-noise ratio for clean audio.

Dynamic Cardioid Handheld Microphone

The included U308 MD handheld transmitter has a dynamic cardioid capsule with a 55Hz-16kHz frequency response. The cardioid pattern rejects off-axis sound for focused vocal pickup and a lower risk of feedback on stage. It has 10mW RF output power, a power LED and a power switch with standby mode for temporary muting. Two AA batteries give over 10 hours of operation. The system is also compatible with U500 series replacement mic heads for tonal flexibility.

Flexible Receiver Outputs

The compact metal-housed receiver has a bright LCD channel display and an LED audio chain for real-time signal monitoring. Outputs are a balanced XLR (max +10dBu) and an unbalanced 6.3mm jack. The jack output switches between line level (+7dBV) and instrument level (+2.5dBV), so it connects directly to guitar and bass amplifiers as well as standard mixing desk inputs. An optional rack mount kit for 19" installation is available separately.

What’s Included:

1 x U308 Receiver

1 x U308 Handheld Transmitter

1 x Audio Cable

1 x Power Supply

2 x AA Batteries

1 x User Manual

LD Systems U308 HHD Key Features:

UHF Diversity Receiver: Two fixed antennas for stable, interference-resistant reception with FM modulation.

12 Channels in 823-832MHz & 863-865MHz: Flexible frequency selection, with up to 6 systems running simultaneously.

100 Metre Transmission Range: Reliable coverage across venues and stages of all sizes.

ASC Infrared Sync: One-touch transmitter and receiver pairing for fast setup.

Pilot Tone Squelch: Output stays silent when no transmitter signal is present.

Dynamic Cardioid Capsule: Focused vocal pickup with reduced feedback risk.

55Hz-16kHz Transmitter Frequency Response: Natural, detailed vocal and speech reproduction.

10mW RF Output & Over 10 Hours Battery Life: Runs on 2 x AA batteries (included).

Balanced XLR Output: Professional connection to mixing desks, max +10dBu.

Switchable 6.3mm Jack Output: Line (+7dBV) or instrument (+2.5dBV) level.

104dB Signal-to-Noise Ratio: Clean, professional-grade audio.

LCD Channel Display & LED Audio Chain: Clear channel selection and signal monitoring.

U500 Series Mic Head Compatible: Replacement capsule heads available for tonal flexibility.

Metal Receiver Housing: Robust construction for touring and regular use.

Optional Rack Mount Kit: 19" rack installation, sold separately.
