It delivers 1,800W RMS (3,600W peak) and a maximum SPL of 133dB, combining powerful full-range sound, plenty of headroom and controlled dispersion with the fast, straightforward handling the MAUI series is known for. It is ideal for DJs, bands and event service providers who want professional sound reinforcement with minimal setup effort.

15" Neodymium Subwoofer

The high-power 15" neodymium woofer delivers punchy, precise low end down to 34Hz. Airflow-optimised bass reflex ports reduce turbulence and port noise, keeping the bass clean and defined even at high output levels. The subwoofer enclosure is polyurea-coated birch multiplex, built for everyday professional use, with four ergonomic carrying handles for easier transport.

Two-Piece 4-Way Column

The column houses 14 x 3.5" neodymium midrange drivers and 4 x 1" compression drivers. In the upper section, newly developed phase plugs and BEM-optimised waveguides give even, controlled dispersion. The lower section uses horn-loaded midrange drivers for greater efficiency, substantial headroom and powerful, clear vocals. The result is coherent mid and high frequency reproduction with 120° x 25° dispersion. The fully active 4-way design gives each frequency band its own driver group and amplifier channel, with crossover points at 200Hz, 700Hz and 1,800Hz. The aluminium column has recessed handles for easy handling.

Cardioid Column & Expandable Bass

The passive cardioid column directs sound towards the audience and attenuates rearward radiation by up to 18dB, which significantly reduces unwanted sound on stage. Adding a second MAUI 44 G3 subwoofer extends this principle to the bass. Placed rear-facing with the Cardioid preset, it increases bass towards the audience and reduces it behind the system. Placed forward-facing, it doubles the low-frequency sound pressure (+6dB) for maximum bass.

DynX DSP Gen.2, Bluetooth 5.4 & Connectivity

The Class-D amplifier is paired with DynX DSP (Gen.2) and advanced peak, RMS and thermal limiters, giving clean, undistorted sound even at the highest output levels. Bluetooth 5.4 with SBC and AAC support provides wireless playback. Two XLR/TRS combo inputs, two Thru outputs and a dedicated sub output allow simple system integration and flexible expansion. Setup is fast, with cable-free connection and automatic column detection.

LD Systems MAUI 44 G3 Key Features:

1,800W RMS / 3,600W Peak Class-D: 133dB maximum SPL for demanding live performances.

Fully Active 4-Way Architecture: Dedicated driver groups and amplifier channels per band, crossovers at 200Hz, 700Hz and 1,800Hz.

15" Neodymium Subwoofer: Punchy, precise bass down to 34Hz with airflow-optimised bass reflex ports.

14 x 3.5" Neodymium Midrange Drivers: Balanced mids with phase plugs and horn-loaded drivers in the lower section.

4 x 1" Compression Drivers with Waveguides: Precise, clear highs with BEM-optimised waveguides.

120° x 25° Dispersion: Controlled, homogeneous coverage.

Passive Cardioid Column: Up to 18dB rear attenuation (100Hz-1kHz) for a cleaner stage.

Expandable Bass: Add a second MAUI 44 G3 subwoofer for cardioid bass or +6dB low-frequency output.

DynX DSP Gen.2: Peak, RMS and thermal limiters for distortion-free sound at maximum volume.

Bluetooth 5.4 with SBC & AAC: High-quality wireless streaming.

2 x XLR/TRS Combo Inputs, 2 x Thru Outputs & Sub Output: Straightforward integration and expansion.

Fast Setup: Cable-free connection and automatic column detection.

Rugged Construction: Polyurea-coated birch multiplex subwoofer and powder-coated aluminium columns.

Easy Transport: 4 ergonomic subwoofer handles and recessed column handles.
