The LD Systems MAUI 28 G3 is a 1,030W RMS Column PA System with a 12" subwoofer, 12 x 3.5" midrange drivers, 2 x 1" tweeters, Bluetooth 5.0, Dynx Gen.2 DSP, cardioid column mode and 120° x 30° dispersion — a compact, powerful and easy-to-assemble all-in-one PA for DJs, musicians and events.
The LD Systems MAUI 28 G3 is the third generation of one of the most popular column PA systems on the market — delivering 1,030W RMS (2,060W peak) and 127dB maximum SPL in a sleek, elegant and easy-to-assemble package that is equally at home as a main PA for concerts, a sound system for mobile DJs or a public address system at weddings, corporate events and a wide range of live performance and presentation applications. Two powder-coated aluminium column elements stack directly onto the subwoofer using enhanced hidden multi-pin connections for increased stability, with no stands or additional cables required — making setup as fast and simple as it gets for a professional-grade column PA system.
Precise, Powerful Sound Across the Full Frequency Range
The MAUI 28 G3 covers the full audio spectrum with a purpose-designed driver configuration for each frequency range. A single 12" custom woofer with 3" voice coil and four bass reflex ports in the birch plywood subwoofer cabinet delivers a clear, tight and punchy low end reaching down to 37Hz — deep enough for kick drums, bass guitars and electronic music with real physical impact. The two column elements each carry 12 x 3.5" full-range midrange drivers with ferrite magnets and phase plugs for even, consistent mid-frequency coverage, and 2 x 1" neodymium tweeters with a BEM-optimised CD waveguide that carries high frequencies to even the furthest areas of the audience. Careful attention to the crossover filter between midrange and tweeter reduces harmonic distortion and interference for a transparent, vibrant and powerful sound across the entire 120° horizontal and 30° vertical dispersion field.
Cardioid Column Mode for Clean Stage Sound
The columns of the MAUI 28 G3 are designed as cardioid speakers — delivering controlled low-mid and midrange sound dispersion at the front of the system with up to 18dB of attenuation at the rear. This dramatically reduces stage wash, monitor bleed and feedback, resulting in a clean, precise front-of-house sound even in challenging acoustic environments. A cardioid subwoofer preset is also available at the press of a button when a second MAUI 28 G3 subwoofer is added, allowing cardioid bass configuration for even greater control of low-frequency dispersion on larger stages.
Dynx Gen.2 DSP & Bluetooth 5.0
The new Dynx Gen.2 DSP platform provides distortion-free sound even at maximum volume, with automatic setup detection for quick and easy operation without complex manual configuration. Bluetooth 5.0 with AAC and SBC decoding enables high-quality wireless audio streaming from smartphones, tablets and laptops, adding further versatility for DJ sets, background music and event applications. Automatic setup detection recognises the connected column configuration and applies the appropriate DSP settings without manual intervention.
Rugged, Road-Ready Construction
The 12" subwoofer cabinet is constructed from 15mm birch plywood with a durable polyurea coating that easily withstands the demands of regular road use, and the lightweight powder-coated aluminium column housings keep the total assembled weight to a manageable 35.4kg. PowerCon mains connectivity, a comprehensive protection suite including DC, multiband limiter, short circuit and thermal protection, and convection cooling complete the professional specification.

Cut-off Times
Orders must be placed before 3:30pm to guarantee same-day dispatch. Any orders placed after this time are not guaranteed to be shipped the same day, and are more likely to be shipped the next working day.
To guarantee Saturday Delivery, orders must ideally be placed before 2pm.
We operate during office hours, Mon-Fri, 9am - 5pm, and are closed during the weekend.
Orders placed over the weekend or Friday after cut-off will be processed and shipped the following Monday (or Tuesday during bank holidays).
Mainland UK Delivery Charges
Note: Next-day services are classed as working days (Mon-Fri) and do not include weekends. Please choose Saturday delivery if you require the item over the weekend.
Please also note orders with a high number of boxes may be subject to an additional charge.

EU Import Tax
Any goods shipped outside of the UK, over a certain value, will incur an import tax. The cost and rate will depend on the country and the order value.
This is a legal requirement and MUST be paid prior to delivery in order to receive your goods. You will be contacted by the courier once the order is dispatched to pay the fee.
Failure to pay import tax when applicable will result in the order being shipped back to Audio Volt. Any returned goods sent back to us due to non-payment of import tax are NOT ELIGIBLE for a refund on the shipping charge.

Delivery Notes
On delivery, you must inspect the goods carefully for damage as Audio Volt is unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products unless the customer advises Audio Volt of such within three working days from the date of delivery.
60 Day Returns Policy
We ask that you follow these guidelines to help us process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible:
- Please keep your order reference to hand. This confirms your original order and gives us the necessary details to authorise the product's return.
- Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 (or email info@audiovolt.co.uk). We will then send you an RMA number and a returns form, which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s).
- If the order has been unpacked, re-package it to ensure that it is being returned in its original condition. Please make sure all items relating to the product are returned, including manuals and cables.
- When returning an item, please obtain a proof of postage receipt from the courier.
Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.
Please note: our returns policy is quite straightforward, but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:
- It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don't tell us you want to make a return, we don't know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.
- If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will assume that you are intending to keep it, and we will not authorise a return.
- We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72 hours of the return being received by us.
- Returned goods are liable for a restocking fee of 15% towards handling and repackaging if the order is not returned in its original, unopened packaging. This charge will be subject to our inspection of the returned goods.
- Delivery charges will not be refunded unless the delivered goods are faulty.
- Replacement products are dispatched immediately after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Audio Volt.
- Items that develop a fault within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 if you believe your item has developed a fault.
Finally, please remember that notifying us of your intention to apply for a return, saving the delivery paperwork and keeping the order in its original packaging will help both you and Audio Volt to process the return quickly.
