JTS ST-5030 Silent Magnetic Reed Heavy Duty Gooseneck Microphone Base
The JTS ST-5030 is a heavy-duty die-cast XLR Gooseneck Microphone Base with a silent magnetic reed on/off switch, anti-slip pad, selectable condenser/dynamic compatibility and a built-in battery compartment for phantom power when none is available from the mixer — the ideal companion base for the JTS GM series gooseneck microphones.
The JTS ST-5030 is a professional quick-mount die-cast gooseneck microphone base designed for use with the JTS GM series condenser gooseneck microphones and other compatible gooseneck microphones. Built from heavy die-cast construction for stability and durability on lecterns, podiums, conference tables and presentation desks, the ST-5030 provides a secure, professional and feature-rich mounting solution that goes beyond a simple passive connector base — with a silent magnetic reed on/off switch, built-in phantom power capability and selectable condenser/dynamic microphone compatibility making it a genuinely versatile and practical installation accessory.
Silent Magnetic Reed On/Off Switch
The ST-5030's magnetic reed on/off switch is designed to permit minimum noise during switching — eliminating the audible click or pop that conventional mechanical switches can produce when activating or muting a microphone during a live presentation or conference. This makes the ST-5030 particularly well suited to professional conference, lecture theatre and boardroom applications where clean, silent switching is an important operational requirement.
Built-In Phantom Power & Selectable Compatibility
A built-in battery compartment accommodates 2 x 1.5V batteries to provide 19–52V phantom power for condenser gooseneck microphones in installations where phantom power is not available from the connected mixer or preamplifier — ensuring the ST-5030 and a compatible condenser gooseneck microphone can be used in virtually any installation environment regardless of the available infrastructure. A selectable switch provides compatibility with both condenser and dynamic gooseneck microphones for maximum versatility across different microphone types and installation scenarios. An anti-slip pad on the base ensures firm, stable standing on desk and lectern surfaces, minimising the transmission of desk vibration and impact noise to the microphone.

60 Day Returns Policy
We ask that you follow these guidelines to help us process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible:
- Please keep your order reference to hand. This confirms your original order and gives us the necessary details to authorise the product's return.
- Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 (or email info@audiovolt.co.uk). We will then send you an RMA number and a returns form, which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s).
- If the order has been unpacked, re-package it to ensure that it is being returned in its original condition. Please make sure all items relating to the product are returned, including manuals and cables.
- When returning an item, please obtain a proof of postage receipt from the courier.
Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.
Please note: our returns policy is quite straightforward, but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:
- It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don't tell us you want to make a return, we don't know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.
- If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will assume that you are intending to keep it, and we will not authorise a return.
- We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72 hours of the return being received by us.
- Returned goods are liable for a restocking fee of 15% towards handling and repackaging if the order is not returned in its original, unopened packaging. This charge will be subject to our inspection of the returned goods.
- Delivery charges will not be refunded unless the delivered goods are faulty.
- Replacement products are dispatched immediately after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Audio Volt.
- Items that develop a fault within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 if you believe your item has developed a fault.
Finally, please remember that notifying us of your intention to apply for a return, saving the delivery paperwork and keeping the order in its original packaging will help both you and Audio Volt to process the return quickly.
