Delivering a clean listening experience down to 38Hz, the T5 adds the kind of low-end depth and physical presence to music, films and TV audio that transforms a good listening setup into a genuinely immersive one. Whether paired with the Edifier R1280T, R1280DBs or any other compact speaker system, the T5 integrates seamlessly and makes an immediate, noticeable difference to the overall sound.

8" Long-Stroke Driver in a Thickened MDF Enclosure

The T5’s 8" long-stroke driver is designed specifically for deep, accurate bass reproduction — moving greater volumes of air for more impactful, physically felt low frequencies without the distortion that less capable drivers produce at high excursion levels. The 21mm thickened MDF cabinet provides significantly greater structural rigidity than standard subwoofer enclosures, reducing cabinet resonance for a cleaner, tighter bass response that lets the music — not the cabinet — do the talking.

Low-Pass Filter, Phase Control & RCA Pass-Through

A variable low-pass filter on the rear panel allows the crossover frequency to be adjusted to blend seamlessly with the main speakers, ensuring a smooth, coherent transition between the subwoofer and the high and mid-range frequencies handled by the bookshelf speakers. A phase control switch helps time-align the subwoofer with the main speakers for the most natural, integrated sound. RCA line-in and line-out pass-through connections make integration with any existing speaker system straightforward, and a rear-panel bass volume knob allows quick, convenient level adjustment without moving the subwoofer.

Auto-Standby & Universal Power Supply

An automatic standby mode ensures the T5 powers down when no signal is present for an extended period, saving electricity without any manual intervention.
