Ecler HADA-4B250 4-Channel 4 x 250W Networkable DSP Power Amplifier
The Ecler HADA-4B250 is a 4-Channel 4 x 250W Networkable Class D DSP Power Amplifier supporting low and high impedance loads, with a 4x4 digital matrix mixer, comprehensive onboard signal processing and full TCP/IP network control.
Delivering twice the output power of the HADA-4B150 for larger, more demanding fixed installation environments.
The Ecler HADA-4B250 is the higher-powered sibling of the HADA-4B150 within Ecler's HADA series of professional networkable DSP amplifiers, stepping up to four channels of 250W Class D amplification whilst retaining the same comprehensive digital signal processing, matrix mixing and network control capabilities that make the HADA series such a compelling choice for professional fixed installation audio systems.
Whether deployed in larger retail environments, educational facilities, corporate spaces, hospitality venues or public buildings requiring greater amplifier headroom and output capability, the HADA-4B250 delivers the power, flexibility and control that demanding installation projects require — all within the same compact 2RU 19" rack chassis as the HADA-4B150.
Greater Power, Same Flexible Output Configuration
The HADA-4B250 supports the same wide range of output configurations as the HADA-4B150 but with significantly increased power output. In standard stereo mode, all four channels deliver 250W into 4 Ohm or 8 Ohm low-impedance loads. In bridge mode, channel pairs deliver a substantial 500W into high-impedance 100V or 70V distributed speaker systems — making the HADA-4B250 equally well suited to driving demanding low-impedance speaker arrays and large-scale 100V line distributed audio installations. An additional operating point of 180W at 2.7 Ohm provides further flexibility for lower-impedance speaker configurations. Output mode selection per channel or channel pair is handled via the HADA DSP Manager software for precise and flexible system configuration. The improved crosstalk specification of greater than 80dB at 1kHz — compared to 60dB on the HADA-4B150 — reflects the higher-performance signal path of this more powerful model.
Advanced Onboard DSP via HADA DSP Manager
The HADA-4B250 shares the same advanced DSP engine as the HADA-4B150, built around a dual-core 64-bit processor with 96kHz/24-bit audio conversion and 113dB dynamic range. Per-channel processing includes parametric EQ, delay, limiter and multiband compressor on both input and output paths, with a 4x4 digital matrix mixer allowing any input to be routed to any output combination. All configurations can be saved as presets for rapid system recall. Signal processing latency is an extremely low 500 microseconds from analogue input to analogue output. The HADA DSP Manager application — accessible via Ethernet (100Mbps, CAT5 up to 100m) and an embedded web application — provides a comprehensive and intuitive interface for all device configuration, monitoring and control from a networked computer or control system.
Multiple Control Options
The HADA-4B250 offers the same generous range of control options as the HADA-4B150. Front panel rotary attenuators provide direct local level control for each output channel. Four rear panel GPI inputs (0–3.3V) enable remote volume control from external control devices, whilst an external MUTE input via dry contact closure allows system-wide muting from fire detection systems and other safety or control devices. Third-party control system integration is supported via TCP/IP, making the HADA-4B250 compatible with a wide range of building management and AV control platforms. A front panel RUN/SLEEP button enables standby mode for energy-efficient operation during periods of inactivity, with a standby power consumption of just 13W.
Comprehensive Protection & Monitoring
The HADA-4B250 is equipped with the same full suite of protection circuits as the rest of the HADA series, ensuring total reliability in continuous professional operation. DC protection, HF protection, short-circuit protection and thermal protection — with automatic output power reduction at 90°C and full mute at 100°C — safeguard both the amplifier and connected loudspeakers at all times. Per-channel front panel LED monitoring covers signal present, clip, limit, mute and protection status, with additional unit-level indicators for power on, data activity and external mute status. The temperature-controlled variable speed fan with front-to-back airflow operates at a maximum noise level of just 40dB at 1m — quieter than the HADA-4B150 — making it an especially practical choice for noise-sensitive installation environments.

60 Day Returns Policy
We ask that you follow these guidelines to help us process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible:
- Please keep your order reference to hand. This confirms your original order and gives us the necessary details to authorise the product's return.
- Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 (or email info@audiovolt.co.uk). We will then send you an RMA number and a returns form, which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s).
- If the order has been unpacked, re-package it to ensure that it is being returned in its original condition. Please make sure all items relating to the product are returned, including manuals and cables.
- When returning an item, please obtain a proof of postage receipt from the courier.
Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.
Please note: our returns policy is quite straightforward, but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:
- It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don't tell us you want to make a return, we don't know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.
- If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will assume that you are intending to keep it, and we will not authorise a return.
- We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72 hours of the return being received by us.
- Returned goods are liable for a restocking fee of 15% towards handling and repackaging if the order is not returned in its original, unopened packaging. This charge will be subject to our inspection of the returned goods.
- Delivery charges will not be refunded unless the delivered goods are faulty.
- Replacement products are dispatched immediately after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Audio Volt.
- Items that develop a fault within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 if you believe your item has developed a fault.
Finally, please remember that notifying us of your intention to apply for a return, saving the delivery paperwork and keeping the order in its original packaging will help both you and Audio Volt to process the return quickly.
