The Dynacord VZX-8 sits at the heart of the V Series Zone Audio Platform — a self-contained, cost-effective and comprehensively specified solution for commercial zone audio installations handling background music, paging and messaging with maximum ease and flexibility. Designed to eliminate the complexity of juggling separate DSPs, accessories and amplifiers that don't communicate effectively with each other, the V Series platform brings together the VZX-8 processor, VCS-8 Call Station, VWP Wall Panel Controllers and V Series power amplifiers into a cohesive, integrated system that is fast to set up, easy to manage and highly flexible for the diverse needs of commercial fixed installations across hospitality, retail, education, corporate and public venue environments.
20 Processed Input Sources & Full Matrix DSP
The VZX-8 provides 20 processed input sources — including 8 balanced mic/line inputs via Euroblock connectors with mic preamps, 4 RCA inputs summed to mono and 8 digital sources from the onboard media and message players — routable in any combination to any of the 8 processed zone outputs via full matrix DSP. Any input can be assigned to any zone output, with comprehensive per-input and per-output processing including dedicated HPF, 4-band parametric EQ, noise gate, compressor, AGC, VOX ducker and trim per input, alongside 5-band room EQ per output. FIR speaker EQ with 10-band custom processing and access to the full Electro-Voice, Dynacord and generic loudspeaker databases — or imported SONICUE speaker databases — allows installers to instantly maximise system performance with factory-optimised loudspeaker presets. An output delay of up to 150ms per zone provides time alignment for complex multi-zone and distributed speaker system configurations.
Virtual Mixer with Automixer & FX
The VZX-8's onboard Virtual Mixer provides full live mixing capability for all mic/line inputs directly within the processor — with an integrated Automixer (AMM) that intelligently manages microphone levels automatically in conferencing and speech reinforcement applications, reducing background noise and feedback without manual intervention. A built-in FX engine provides reverb, echo, delay, chorus and combination effects with independent level control per input, adding a further dimension of flexibility for live event and presentation applications within a commercial installation environment. ANC (Automatic Noise Compensation) and AGC (Automatic Gain Control) further automate the management of microphone and input levels for consistent, professional results without constant manual adjustment.
Onboard Media Player, Message Player & 32GB MicroSD
The VZX-8 includes a 32GB MicroSD card for storing music, messages and configuration files directly within the processor — enabling standalone background music playback and scheduled message broadcasting without any external media source. The media and message player provides 8 mono or 4 stereo digital sources routable to any zone, and 300MB of internal storage provides additional capacity for configuration and message file storage.
VZX Web App — Browser-Based System Control
The VZX-8 is configured and managed via the VZX Web App — an adaptive web application accessible from any device with a browser, requiring no additional software installation. System setup, zone audio configuration, messaging, paging and wall panel management can be completed in minutes, with copy and paste functions on processing blocks to accelerate multi-zone configurations. The app provides full matrix DSP visibility, input routing, zone creation, output adjustment and speaker settings in a single intuitive interface, with multiple configuration language support for international installations.
RJ45 Accessory Ports & System Expandability
Two RJ45 accessory ports support reliable connection of up to 8 accessories per port — 16 devices total — with cable lengths of up to 500m per port, providing extensive installation flexibility for large-scale distributed commercial environments. Up to 8 VCS-8 Call Stations can be connected for paging and announcement capability, and VWP Wall Panel Controllers provide local level, zone and source control with display at each zone location. Line outputs are available via both Euroblock (8 outputs) and RJ45 (2 x RJ45 LINE OUT 1-4/5-8) for direct connection to V Series amplifiers via AES72-1E, alongside 8 freely assignable GPIO inputs/outputs for third-party control system integration.

Cut-off Times
Orders must be placed before 3:30pm to guarantee same-day dispatch. Any orders placed after this time are not guaranteed to be shipped the same day, and are more likely to be shipped the next working day.
To guarantee Saturday Delivery, orders must ideally be placed before 2pm.
We operate during office hours, Mon-Fri, 9am - 5pm, and are closed during the weekend.
Orders placed over the weekend or Friday after cut-off will be processed and shipped the following Monday (or Tuesday during bank holidays).
Mainland UK Delivery Charges
Note: Next-day services are classed as working days (Mon-Fri) and do not include weekends. Please choose Saturday delivery if you require the item over the weekend.
Please also note orders with a high number of boxes may be subject to an additional charge.

EU Import Tax
Any goods shipped outside of the UK, over a certain value, will incur an import tax. The cost and rate will depend on the country and the order value.
This is a legal requirement and MUST be paid prior to delivery in order to receive your goods. You will be contacted by the courier once the order is dispatched to pay the fee.
Failure to pay import tax when applicable will result in the order being shipped back to Audio Volt. Any returned goods sent back to us due to non-payment of import tax are NOT ELIGIBLE for a refund on the shipping charge.

Delivery Notes
On delivery, you must inspect the goods carefully for damage as Audio Volt is unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products unless the customer advises Audio Volt of such within three working days from the date of delivery.
60 Day Returns Policy
We ask that you follow these guidelines to help us process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible:
- Please keep your order reference to hand. This confirms your original order and gives us the necessary details to authorise the product's return.
- Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 (or email info@audiovolt.co.uk). We will then send you an RMA number and a returns form, which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s).
- If the order has been unpacked, re-package it to ensure that it is being returned in its original condition. Please make sure all items relating to the product are returned, including manuals and cables.
- When returning an item, please obtain a proof of postage receipt from the courier.
Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.
Please note: our returns policy is quite straightforward, but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:
- It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don't tell us you want to make a return, we don't know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.
- If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will assume that you are intending to keep it, and we will not authorise a return.
- We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72 hours of the return being received by us.
- Returned goods are liable for a restocking fee of 15% towards handling and repackaging if the order is not returned in its original, unopened packaging. This charge will be subject to our inspection of the returned goods.
- Delivery charges will not be refunded unless the delivered goods are faulty.
- Replacement products are dispatched immediately after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Audio Volt.
- Items that develop a fault within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 if you believe your item has developed a fault.
Finally, please remember that notifying us of your intention to apply for a return, saving the delivery paperwork and keeping the order in its original packaging will help both you and Audio Volt to process the return quickly.
