At the core of the PSX2404D is Bose's innovative power-sharing technology, developed in partnership with Powersoft. Rather than locking each channel to a fixed power allocation, the amplifier dynamically distributes its 2400W across all four outputs — either evenly or asymmetrically — depending on the demands of the system at any given moment. With asymmetrical rated power reaching up to 1700W at 4Ω and 70V, this intelligent approach gives system designers the flexibility to drive larger or mixed loudspeaker configurations from a single amplifier, potentially reducing the overall amplifier count and delivering real cost savings on larger projects.
Output flexibility is a key strength of the PSX2404D. The amplifier handles both low-impedance loads (2, 4 and 8Ω) and high-impedance 70V and 100V loudspeaker lines with ease, making it equally at home in a traditional installed audio system or a distributed 100V line setup. Four analogue inputs provide standard balanced line-level connections, while built-in Dante networking supports up to four digital input channels directly from a Dante network — with no additional network card required.
Onboard DSP gives installers instant access to Bose Professional certified loudspeaker presets via ControlSpace Designer software, ensuring optimal performance and loudspeaker protection straight out of the box. The full suite of processing tools includes parametric EQ, crossover filtering, delay, limiting and matrix mixing, all managed from a single intuitive interface alongside the broader Bose Professional ecosystem. Real-time network monitoring provides live system performance data, minimising downtime and reducing unnecessary service calls.
The PSX2404D is EN 54-16 certified, making it a compliant choice for voice alarm and public address systems. Its compact 1RU rack design measures just 358mm deep, eliminating the need for oversized rack enclosures, while Powersoft-proven reliability ensures the system performs day in, day out across the most demanding commercial environments.

60 Day Returns Policy
We ask that you follow these guidelines to help us process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible:
- Please keep your order reference to hand. This confirms your original order and gives us the necessary details to authorise the product's return.
- Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 (or email info@audiovolt.co.uk). We will then send you an RMA number and a returns form, which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s).
- If the order has been unpacked, re-package it to ensure that it is being returned in its original condition. Please make sure all items relating to the product are returned, including manuals and cables.
- When returning an item, please obtain a proof of postage receipt from the courier.
Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.
Please note: our returns policy is quite straightforward, but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:
- It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don't tell us you want to make a return, we don't know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.
- If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will assume that you are intending to keep it, and we will not authorise a return.
- We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72 hours of the return being received by us.
- Returned goods are liable for a restocking fee of 15% towards handling and repackaging if the order is not returned in its original, unopened packaging. This charge will be subject to our inspection of the returned goods.
- Delivery charges will not be refunded unless the delivered goods are faulty.
- Replacement products are dispatched immediately after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Audio Volt.
- Items that develop a fault within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 if you believe your item has developed a fault.
Finally, please remember that notifying us of your intention to apply for a return, saving the delivery paperwork and keeping the order in its original packaging will help both you and Audio Volt to process the return quickly.
