Biamp ALINP Mic & Line Local Input Wall Panel with Volume Control
The Biamp ALINP is a Mic and Line Local Input Wall Panel with individual volume controls for a dynamic microphone and stereo line source — powered by 24–48V phantom power from a compatible mixing amplifier or matrix, and ideal for classrooms, meeting rooms, bars, restaurants and multi-function spaces requiring a simple, local audio input point.
The Biamp ALINP is a local input wall control panel designed to provide a clean, straightforward local audio connection point in commercial audio installations — without the complexity of multi-button control panels or the need for additional equipment. Simply plug in a laptop, media player or microphone and control the volume — nothing more, nothing less. Ideal for classrooms where a different teacher connects their own device each hour, meeting rooms where presentations are given on a regular basis, multi-function rooms, bars, restaurants and banquet halls where a local input point adds significant convenience, the ALINP saves time and eliminates the need for users to interact with the main audio system or visit the equipment rack to connect a source.
Mic & Line Inputs with Individual Volume Control
The ALINP provides two local input options — a balanced XLR dynamic microphone input with individual volume control and a stereo line input (summed to mono internally) with individual volume control for connection of laptops, tablets, media players and other consumer audio sources. The built-in microphone preamplifier and high-quality input transformer prevent ground loops and guarantee exceptional audio quality from both inputs, and the line and microphone inputs are automatically mixed together so that only a single input on the main mixing amplifier or matrix is used — keeping system wiring simple and installation straightforward.
Phantom Powered for Universal Compatibility
The ALINP is powered entirely by 24–48V phantom power from the connected mixing desk, matrix or preamplifier — requiring no separate power supply at the wall panel location. This makes it compatible with a wide range of professional mixing amplifiers and matrices with a mic/line input providing at least 24V phantom power, including the Biamp MA30, MA60, MA120 and MA240 mixer amplifiers. Note that the XLR microphone input on the ALINP does not provide phantom power to connected microphones — it is designed for use with dynamic microphones only. With a maximum cable length of 600m between the wall panel and the connected amplifier or matrix, the ALINP is suitable for installation across large buildings and distributed audio systems.
Standard Decora Fit for Clean Installation
The ALINP fits into any standard Decora in-wall back box, with compatibility confirmed for the Apart E-MODIN and N-MODIN build-in boxes — providing a clean, professional flush-mounted wall panel appearance in any commercial interior.

60 Day Returns Policy
We ask that you follow these guidelines to help us process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible:
- Please keep your order reference to hand. This confirms your original order and gives us the necessary details to authorise the product's return.
- Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 (or email info@audiovolt.co.uk). We will then send you an RMA number and a returns form, which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s).
- If the order has been unpacked, re-package it to ensure that it is being returned in its original condition. Please make sure all items relating to the product are returned, including manuals and cables.
- When returning an item, please obtain a proof of postage receipt from the courier.
Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.
Please note: our returns policy is quite straightforward, but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:
- It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don't tell us you want to make a return, we don't know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.
- If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will assume that you are intending to keep it, and we will not authorise a return.
- We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72 hours of the return being received by us.
- Returned goods are liable for a restocking fee of 15% towards handling and repackaging if the order is not returned in its original, unopened packaging. This charge will be subject to our inspection of the returned goods.
- Delivery charges will not be refunded unless the delivered goods are faulty.
- Replacement products are dispatched immediately after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Audio Volt.
- Items that develop a fault within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 if you believe your item has developed a fault.
Finally, please remember that notifying us of your intention to apply for a return, saving the delivery paperwork and keeping the order in its original packaging will help both you and Audio Volt to process the return quickly.
