The Audac BASSO112 is the 12" model in the BASSO series of high-power infra-subwoofers, engineered to set a new standard in low-frequency fidelity for demanding professional audio environments. Built around cutting-edge technologies including a pure carbon fibre cone and the proprietary AeroVent venting system, the BASSO112 delivers a visceral, immersive infra-sub sound experience with exceptionally low distortion — from subtle low-frequency nuances at low power levels through to full-force bass at maximum output. With 2000W program power handling, 1000W continuous AES power, 124dB continuous maximum SPL and a frequency range extending down to 26Hz without any additional processing, the BASSO112 provides the kind of physical, felt low-frequency performance that is essential for nightclubs, concert venues, theme parks, bars, hotels, sporting facilities and any other environment where maximum bass impact and high-reliability are non-negotiable.
AeroVent Technology — Power Redefined
The BASSO112 features Audac's proprietary AeroVent bass port configuration — a revolutionary venting design that minimises distortion and maximises output consistency across the full operating power range. Unlike conventional bass-reflex ports that can introduce turbulence, noise and compression at high output levels, AeroVent delivers consistent, clean and low-noise low-frequency performance from 1W through to 1kW — ensuring the character and clarity of the bass remains intact regardless of the output level demanded by the application. Combined with a bass port tuning frequency of 39Hz, the AeroVent system contributes directly to the BASSO112's exceptional low-frequency extension and output capability.
Pure Carbon Fibre Cone Driver
The BASSO112 is built around a 12" carbon fibre cone driver with dual suspension (low-loss) and a 3.5" high-excursion voice coil — a driver specification that places it well above conventional subwoofer designs in terms of both performance and durability. The pure carbon fibre cone is significantly lighter and stiffer than conventional paper, polypropylene or composite cone materials, providing the combination of high rigidity, low moving mass and excellent internal damping that is essential for precise, fast and low-distortion infra-bass reproduction. The result is deep, precise bass with exceptional clarity and definition — even at the extreme low-frequency extension and high output levels that the BASSO112 is designed to operate at. Dual suspension and a high-excursion 3.5" voice coil ensure controlled, accurate driver movement under sustained high-power operation.
Rugged Professional Construction
The BASSO112 enclosure is constructed from 18mm multiply plywood with an extremely rigid chassis and inner framing for the structural integrity required in demanding touring, installation and under-stage deployment environments. A premium four-layer Polyurea coating provides exceptional impact resistance and durability, whilst zinc-plated bolts and fasteners throughout ensure long-term corrosion resistance. The front baffle features a 2.0mm zinc-plated steel grille with hexagon perforations, powder coating and acoustical foam backing for robust driver protection and clean bass transmission. Eight M10 mounting bracket installation holes on both sides of the cabinet provide flexible rigging options, and an M20 internal thread stand adaptor provides pole mount capability for above-stage or stand-mounted deployment configurations. A high-current terminal block with link-through provides secure, professional-grade wiring connectivity.

Cut-off Times
Orders must be placed before 3:30pm to guarantee same-day dispatch. Any orders placed after this time are not guaranteed to be shipped the same day, and are more likely to be shipped the next working day.
To guarantee Saturday Delivery, orders must ideally be placed before 2pm.
We operate during office hours, Mon-Fri, 9am - 5pm, and are closed during the weekend.
Orders placed over the weekend or Friday after cut-off will be processed and shipped the following Monday (or Tuesday during bank holidays).
Mainland UK Delivery Charges
Note: Next-day services are classed as working days (Mon-Fri) and do not include weekends. Please choose Saturday delivery if you require the item over the weekend.
Please also note orders with a high number of boxes may be subject to an additional charge.

EU Import Tax
Any goods shipped outside of the UK, over a certain value, will incur an import tax. The cost and rate will depend on the country and the order value.
This is a legal requirement and MUST be paid prior to delivery in order to receive your goods. You will be contacted by the courier once the order is dispatched to pay the fee.
Failure to pay import tax when applicable will result in the order being shipped back to Audio Volt. Any returned goods sent back to us due to non-payment of import tax are NOT ELIGIBLE for a refund on the shipping charge.

Delivery Notes
On delivery, you must inspect the goods carefully for damage as Audio Volt is unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products unless the customer advises Audio Volt of such within three working days from the date of delivery.
60 Day Returns Policy
We ask that you follow these guidelines to help us process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible:
- Please keep your order reference to hand. This confirms your original order and gives us the necessary details to authorise the product's return.
- Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 (or email info@audiovolt.co.uk). We will then send you an RMA number and a returns form, which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s).
- If the order has been unpacked, re-package it to ensure that it is being returned in its original condition. Please make sure all items relating to the product are returned, including manuals and cables.
- When returning an item, please obtain a proof of postage receipt from the courier.
Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.
Please note: our returns policy is quite straightforward, but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:
- It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don't tell us you want to make a return, we don't know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.
- If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will assume that you are intending to keep it, and we will not authorise a return.
- We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72 hours of the return being received by us.
- Returned goods are liable for a restocking fee of 15% towards handling and repackaging if the order is not returned in its original, unopened packaging. This charge will be subject to our inspection of the returned goods.
- Delivery charges will not be refunded unless the delivered goods are faulty.
- Replacement products are dispatched immediately after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Audio Volt.
- Items that develop a fault within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 if you believe your item has developed a fault.
Finally, please remember that notifying us of your intention to apply for a return, saving the delivery paperwork and keeping the order in its original packaging will help both you and Audio Volt to process the return quickly.
