As standard the system will not come pre-installed, however the equipment we have specified is very easy to install, and we can provide assistance if required.

The reason for the system not being pre-installed comes down to a few key reasons:

Weight limitations:
We have strict weight limitations imposed by our courier. Staying under this limit is what allows us to ship the goods for free on our standard delivery, or affordably on our timed services. It also means you won't need a trolley or rack truck to move it around on delivery. -
Damage control:
Shipping items separately significantly reduces the risk of equipment getting damaged in transit, due to how they fit into the rack. -
Easy returns:
If a piece of equipment is DoA or damaged, we can quickly and easily replace it, and you won't need to find a box since it will already come in one. -
Time:
Pre-installing the rack takes time to fit, test, and pack everything, meaning orders placed in the afternoon may not dispatch until the following day. Shipping everything separately ensures we can commit to our 3:30pm cutoff. It also means if we are out of stock of a particular item and it's needed urgently, we can ship directly from one of our suppliers (if available).
No, but it is recommended. The PDU provides a single power switch for all equipment, and means you don't
need a mains power socket for every item - just a single socket for the PDU.
The same applies for the power conditioner, however in addition to the combined power sockets, the
conditioner filters out unwanted noise that can otherwise feed into the audio signal, such as noise from
fluorescent lights, dimmers, and similar sources of electronic pollution. It also includes two LEDs that
allow you to see the rack in the dark.
A flight case is designed to be portable. It has removable lids on the back and front for access to the equipment, but these cannot be locked securely. This is a great choice for DJ's, schools, and other environments where portability is key.
A cabinet is designed to be permanently installed, usually into a dedicated cupboard, room, or at reception. It can be wall or floor-mounted, and comes with a lockable front door.
Cables that are used to connect everything in the rack are included. The type of cables will dynamically change and show in the summary based on the equipment you select, so you don't need to add these separately. Power cables are also included.
