The Citronic TU1-N is a PLL Tuneable UHF True Diversity Wireless Bodypack System delivering reliable, professional-grade wireless performance with both neckband and lavalier microphones included, licence-free UK and EU operation and an intuitive full-colour TFT display for effortless channel management.

The Citronic TU1-N has been designed to provide a reliable, adaptable and uncompromising wireless microphone solution for stage performances, conferences, theatrical productions, presentations and other vocal applications where a discreet, hands-free microphone setup is required. Built around a true diversity UHF receiver with individually programmable channels, the TU-series delivers the kind of dependable, interference-free wireless performance that demanding professional applications require — all within a system that is straightforward to set up, manage and expand.

Intelligent Channel Management

At the heart of the TU-series is a sophisticated channel management system that sets it apart from simpler wireless alternatives. The full-colour TFT display and rotary encoder on the receiver's front panel allow complete programming of carrier frequency, EQ settings, transmission power and even the display backlight colour for easy channel identification on busy multi-channel setups. Each channel wirelessly syncs to its paired bodypack transmitter via an IR connection, automatically configuring the transmitter to match the receiver settings — avoiding the complication of having to manually adjust multiple controls on each transmitter separately. An auto frequency sweep function identifies and locks onto the clearest available frequencies for reliable, drop-out free operation.

Compact Bodypack Transmitter with Two Microphone Options

The TU1-N is supplied with a compact and lightweight bodypack transmitter — weighing just 74g without batteries — along with both a neckband microphone and a lavalier microphone, giving performers and presenters the flexibility to choose the most suitable option for their application. Both microphones feature fully balanced signal connections for clean, interference-free audio transmission. The neckband microphone is ideal for theatrical and stage applications where secure, consistent microphone positioning is critical, whilst the lavalier microphone offers a more discreet solution for presentations, conferences and broadcast applications. A wireless range of up to 60 metres provides ample freedom of movement. Two AA batteries are supplied per transmitter.

Flexible Connectivity & Tuning

Each channel of the TU1-N receiver features an independent 7-band EQ for precise tonal shaping to suit different voices, microphone types and acoustic environments. Individual XLR outputs per channel allow direct connection to mixing desks and PA systems, whilst a single mixed jack output provides a convenient alternative for simpler setups. Twin BNC antennas with true diversity reception and internal antenna distribution can be connected at the rear of the receiver or repositioned to the front panel when rack-mounted using the supplied BNC extension cables. The system operates licence-free within the 863–865MHz UHF band in the UK and EU, with additional channel 65 frequencies (823–832MHz) also available with a PMSE licence.
