The Trantec S2.4HBX is a dual channel 2.4GHz ISM Digital Wireless Microphone System combining one handheld transmitter and one beltpack transmitter with lapel microphone — delivering licence-free, versatile dual wireless audio from a single receiver with individual XLR outputs and mixed jack output.

The Trantec S2.4HBX is an all-round dual channel wireless microphone system that combines the convenience of a handheld microphone with the hands-free practicality of a beltpack and lapel microphone — all operating on the completely free 2.4GHz ISM frequency band with no licence required for use in the UK.

Whether deployed for live performances, presentations, conferences, fitness instruction, theatre, schools or public events, the S2.4HBX provides a flexible and ready-to-use dual wireless solution that covers virtually any vocal or presentation scenario straight out of the box. Both transmitters operate on different frequencies simultaneously through the single dual receiver, with up to 16 selectable channels per transmitter for reliable interference-free operation in busy wireless environments.

Licence-Free 2.4GHz Digital Wireless

Both transmitters operate on the free 2.4GHz ISM band using digital GFSK modulation for robust, clean signal transmission with a dynamic range of 85dB, THD of less than 0.1% and SNR of greater than 95dB. The dual receiver features a bright LCD display for clear channel and signal status monitoring, with individual channel XLR outputs for connection to mixing desks and PA systems, alongside a single mixed jack output for simpler setups. Two antennas and rack ears are supplied as standard, making the receiver equally suitable for freestanding use or permanent 19" rack installation.

Handheld & Beltpack Transmitters

The S2.4HBX handheld transmitter delivers 10mW of RF carrier power for stable, clean wireless vocal transmission, powered by 2 x 1.5V AA batteries for approximately 5 hours of continuous use. The compact beltpack transmitter — also delivering 10mW RF power via GFSK modulation and powered by 2 x AA batteries for approximately 5 hours — is supplied with a lapel microphone connecting via 3.5mm mini jack. It is important to note that the beltpack requires a 3.5mm threaded mini jack connection — the standard Trantec LP2, SJ33 and SJ66 microphone capsules are not compatible without adaptation, so please ensure any replacement or additional microphones use the correct 3.5mm threaded mini jack connector.
