The Mackie Thump 15S V4 is a 15" 1400W Active PA Subwoofer delivering 132dB maximum SPL and a floor-shaking 27Hz low-frequency response, with four selectable high-pass modes for seamless Thump V4 system integration.
The Mackie Thump 15S V4 is the most powerful and capable subwoofer in the Thump V4 range, designed as the perfect complement to the Thump V4 loudspeaker series and built to deliver the deep, authoritative low-end foundation that transforms a good PA system into a truly impactful one. Built around a 1400W Class-D amplifier and a 15" high-performance woofer that reaches a remarkable 27Hz low frequency — well into sub-bass territory that is felt as much as heard — the Thump 15S V4 delivers a maximum SPL of 132dB for the kind of powerful, chest-thumping bass that gets people on the dance floor and keeps them there. Whether deployed for DJ sets, live bands, karaoke or general PA applications, the Thump 15S V4 brings complex basslines, punchy kicks and deep low-end presence that no full-range loudspeaker alone can replicate.
Selectable High Pass Modes for Perfect System Integration
A key feature of the Thump 15S V4 that sets it apart from simpler subwoofers is its four selectable high-pass modes, each pre-configured with the optimal crossover frequency for a specific Thump V4 loudspeaker pairing. Thump 12 mode sets a 140Hz crossover for Thump 12 V4 loudspeakers, Thump 15 mode sets a 110Hz crossover for Thump 15 V4 loudspeakers, and Thump GO mode sets a 150Hz crossover for Thump GO loudspeakers — removing all the guesswork from subwoofer and loudspeaker integration within the Thump V4 ecosystem. All modes include a 1.4ms alignment delay for phase-coherent system integration between the subwoofer and loudspeakers, ensuring a seamless, well-integrated combined response. A Variable mode allows the crossover frequency to be set manually for use with any third-party loudspeaker, making the Thump 15S V4 a versatile sub for mixed or non-Thump systems too.
Versatile I/O & System Configuration
The Thump 15S V4 provides a comprehensive range of input, output and configuration options for flexible system design. Stereo XLR inputs accept signals from DJ controllers, mixers and other source equipment, whilst stereo high-pass XLR outputs feed connected loudspeakers with the correctly filtered signal for seamless top and sub integration. Stereo full-range XLR outputs pass the complete unaltered signal to a second subwoofer for expanded low-end coverage in larger systems. Phase invert, stereo or mono summing for single or dual subwoofer deployment, and a variable level control from muted to +6dB allow precise output balancing and system optimisation. A defeatable front LED provides clean stage presentation when required.
Built-Like-A-Tank™ with Smart Mounting
The Thump 15S V4's Built-Like-A-Tank™ construction ensures touring-grade reliability and durability for regular gigging, whilst the lightweight design and built-in handles keep it manageable for a single operator at 26kg. An M20 threaded top accommodates the Mackie SPM400 speaker pole (sold separately), allowing a Thump V4 loudspeaker to be pole-mounted directly above the subwoofer for a clean, compact and space-efficient self-contained PA stack — ideal for smaller venues, mobile DJs and gigging musicians who want a professional system without the complexity.

Cut-off Times
Orders must be placed before 3:30pm to guarantee same-day dispatch. Any orders placed after this time are not guaranteed to be shipped the same day, and are more likely to be shipped the next working day.
To guarantee Saturday Delivery, orders must ideally be placed before 2pm.
We operate during office hours, Mon-Fri, 9am - 5pm, and are closed during the weekend.
Orders placed over the weekend or Friday after cut-off will be processed and shipped the following Monday (or Tuesday during bank holidays).
Mainland UK Delivery Charges
Note: Next-day services are classed as working days (Mon-Fri) and do not include weekends. Please choose Saturday delivery if you require the item over the weekend.
Please also note orders with a high number of boxes may be subject to an additional charge.

EU Import Tax
Any goods shipped outside of the UK, over a certain value, will incur an import tax. The cost and rate will depend on the country and the order value.
This is a legal requirement and MUST be paid prior to delivery in order to receive your goods. You will be contacted by the courier once the order is dispatched to pay the fee.
Failure to pay import tax when applicable will result in the order being shipped back to Audio Volt. Any returned goods sent back to us due to non-payment of import tax are NOT ELIGIBLE for a refund on the shipping charge.

Delivery Notes
On delivery, you must inspect the goods carefully for damage as Audio Volt is unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products unless the customer advises Audio Volt of such within three working days from the date of delivery.
60 Day Returns Policy
We ask that you follow these guidelines to help us process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible:
- Please keep your order reference to hand. This confirms your original order and gives us the necessary details to authorise the product's return.
- Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 (or email info@audiovolt.co.uk). We will then send you an RMA number and a returns form, which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s).
- If the order has been unpacked, re-package it to ensure that it is being returned in its original condition. Please make sure all items relating to the product are returned, including manuals and cables.
- When returning an item, please obtain a proof of postage receipt from the courier.
Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.
Please note: our returns policy is quite straightforward, but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:
- It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don't tell us you want to make a return, we don't know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.
- If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will assume that you are intending to keep it, and we will not authorise a return.
- We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72 hours of the return being received by us.
- Returned goods are liable for a restocking fee of 15% towards handling and repackaging if the order is not returned in its original, unopened packaging. This charge will be subject to our inspection of the returned goods.
- Delivery charges will not be refunded unless the delivered goods are faulty.
- Replacement products are dispatched immediately after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Audio Volt.
- Items that develop a fault within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 if you believe your item has developed a fault.
Finally, please remember that notifying us of your intention to apply for a return, saving the delivery paperwork and keeping the order in its original packaging will help both you and Audio Volt to process the return quickly.
