Dynacord V600:2 2-Channel 600W Power Amplifier 4Ω / 8Ω / 100V
The Dynacord V600:2 is a compact half-rack 2-Channel 600W Power Amplifier with powerTANK flexible load sharing, ecoRAIL low-consumption idle mode, dualCOOL thermal management and support for 4Ω, 8Ω, 70V and 100V operation — delivering the same advanced Dynacord technology as the V600:4 in a space-saving two-channel half-rack format.
The Dynacord V600:2 is a two-channel 600W power amplifier designed for small to mid-sized fixed installations requiring higher SPL levels or greater per-channel power than a four-channel model provides — whilst retaining the same best-in-class Dynacord technologies, energy efficiency and installation flexibility as the V600:4. Suitable for background music and announcement applications as well as higher output applications across educational facilities, hospitality venues, retail areas and houses of worship, the V600:2 combines professional performance with a compact half-rack 1U form factor that opens up a wide range of installation possibilities even in space-constrained environments.
Included brackets facilitate single and dual rack-mount configurations alongside desktop and under-counter installations, and when rack-mounted side by side, two V600:2 units occupy a single rack unit — effectively doubling channel count and output power within the same rack space. Integrators can also mix and match V600:2 and V600:4 models within the same installation to precisely meet the specific power and channel count requirements of each project.
powerTANK — Flexible Power Allocation
The V600:2 features Dynacord's proprietary powerTANK technology — a power reservoir that makes the full 600W of total amplifier power available flexibly across both channels, with up to 500W or 600W maximum output per channel via power sharing depending on impedance. With 2 x 300W rated power, powerTANK automatically allocates power where it is needed between channels without any manual configuration, ensuring both zones always have access to the power they require. Variable Load Drive (VLD) ensures efficient powerTANK utilisation with consistent power delivery at any impedance across 4Ω, 8Ω, 70V and 100V operation.
ecoRAIL & Auto Power Down for Energy Efficiency
ecoRAIL technology delivers power consumption similar to a regular standby level — less than 12W with no input signal — whilst still producing audio output suitable for background music applications. Auto Power Down (APD) mode reduces power consumption to less than 1W when no signal is present for extended periods, making the V600:2 one of the most energy-efficient amplifiers available in its class for permanent commercial installations.
dualCOOL Thermal Management
The dualCOOL thermal design allows the V600:2 to operate as a completely silent convection-cooled amplifier in typical conditions, with an intelligent multi-speed fan engaging automatically only in extreme thermal conditions to ensure maximum performance and reliability. This makes the V600:2 suitable for both open rack and close-packed rack installation environments.
PFC Power Supply & Comprehensive Protection
The V600:2 is equipped with a Power Factor Correction (PFC) switching power supply and a comprehensive protection suite — including audio limiters, high temperature, DC, HF, short circuit, back-EMF, peak current limiters, inrush current limiters and mains over/under voltage protection — ensuring reliable, continuous operation under all mains conditions.

On delivery, you must inspect the goods carefully for damage as Audio Volt is unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products unless the customer advises Audio Volt of such within three working days from the date of delivery.
60 Day Returns Policy
We ask that you follow these guidelines to help us process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible:
- Please keep your order reference to hand. This confirms your original order and gives us the necessary details to authorise the product's return.
- Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 (or email info@audiovolt.co.uk). We will then send you an RMA number and a returns form, which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s).
- If the order has been unpacked, re-package it to ensure that it is being returned in its original condition. Please make sure all items relating to the product are returned, including manuals and cables.
- When returning an item, please obtain a proof of postage receipt from the courier.
Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.
Please note: our returns policy is quite straightforward, but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:
- It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don't tell us you want to make a return, we don't know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.
- If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will assume that you are intending to keep it, and we will not authorise a return.
- We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72 hours of the return being received by us.
- Returned goods are liable for a restocking fee of 15% towards handling and repackaging if the order is not returned in its original, unopened packaging. This charge will be subject to our inspection of the returned goods.
- Delivery charges will not be refunded unless the delivered goods are faulty.
- Replacement products are dispatched immediately after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Audio Volt.
- Items that develop a fault within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 if you believe your item has developed a fault.
Finally, please remember that notifying us of your intention to apply for a return, saving the delivery paperwork and keeping the order in its original packaging will help both you and Audio Volt to process the return quickly.
