Dynacord U30:1M 30W Half-Rack Mixer Amplifier 4Ω / 8Ω / 100V
The Dynacord U30:1M is a compact 30W Half-Rack Mixer Amplifier with 4 inputs, phantom power, VOX ducking, EMG override, 2-tone chime and support for 4Ω, 8Ω, 70V and 100V operation — ideal for background music and voice announcement installations in bars, restaurants, retail, education and hospitality environments.
The Dynacord U30:1M is a 30W Class D mixer amplifier designed for small to medium-sized commercial installations where quality, performance and reliability are paramount. Ideal for background music and voice announcement applications across bars, restaurants, retail outlets, educational institutions, houses of worship, museums, galleries, transport hubs and conference centres, the U30:1M delivers a comprehensive feature set in a remarkably compact half-rack 1U enclosure — opening up a wide range of installation possibilities even in space-constrained environments.
Included brackets facilitate single and dual rack-mount configurations, and desktop and under-counter installations are equally viable. When rack-mounted side by side, two U30:1M units occupy a single rack unit — effectively doubling both channel count and output power within the same rack space.
Versatile 4-Input Configuration
The U30:1M provides four input channels covering a wide range of source types. Inputs 1 and 2 are balanced mic/line inputs with switchable 48V phantom power — Input 1 also features contact override with 2-tone chime for attention-grabbing paging alerts, whilst Input 2 includes VOX ducking that automatically reduces background music volume when a voice signal is detected, ensuring clear voice communication without manual intervention. Inputs 3 and 4 are unbalanced stereo RCA line inputs for media players and other consumer audio sources, converted to mono internally. A dedicated EMG input accepts both line-level and 100V signals for emergency message override, ensuring critical announcements are always heard clearly above all other audio sources.
Full Impedance Flexibility & DSP
The U30:1M supports 4Ω, 8Ω, 70V and 100V speaker operation — selectable via DIP switch — for complete compatibility with both low-impedance and distributed 100V speaker systems. Bass and treble shelving EQ of ±12dB provides tonal shaping of the output signal, and two high-pass filters — a permanently active 70Hz filter and a switchable 120Hz filter — allow unwanted low-frequency content to be removed from the signal path for cleaner, more focused audio reproduction through installed speakers.
Comprehensive Protection & Status Monitoring
The U30:1M incorporates a comprehensive protection suite including audio limiters, high temperature, DC, HF, short circuit and over-current protection on the amplifier, alongside mains over/under voltage protection, inrush current limiting, mains over-current and high-temperature protection on the switching mode power supply. Front-panel status LEDs provide clear at-a-glance indication of power, signal, peak, call and protection status, and a remote power OFF contact closure input enables remote standby activation for energy-efficient operation when the system is not in use. Fanless convection cooling ensures silent operation across an operating temperature range of -5°C to +45°C.

60 Day Returns Policy
We ask that you follow these guidelines to help us process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible:
- Please keep your order reference to hand. This confirms your original order and gives us the necessary details to authorise the product's return.
- Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 (or email info@audiovolt.co.uk). We will then send you an RMA number and a returns form, which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s).
- If the order has been unpacked, re-package it to ensure that it is being returned in its original condition. Please make sure all items relating to the product are returned, including manuals and cables.
- When returning an item, please obtain a proof of postage receipt from the courier.
Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.
Please note: our returns policy is quite straightforward, but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:
- It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don't tell us you want to make a return, we don't know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.
- If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will assume that you are intending to keep it, and we will not authorise a return.
- We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72 hours of the return being received by us.
- Returned goods are liable for a restocking fee of 15% towards handling and repackaging if the order is not returned in its original, unopened packaging. This charge will be subject to our inspection of the returned goods.
- Delivery charges will not be refunded unless the delivered goods are faulty.
- Replacement products are dispatched immediately after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Audio Volt.
- Items that develop a fault within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 if you believe your item has developed a fault.
Finally, please remember that notifying us of your intention to apply for a return, saving the delivery paperwork and keeping the order in its original packaging will help both you and Audio Volt to process the return quickly.
