Yamaha DXR15 MK3 15" 2-Way Active Loudspeaker, 1000W
The Yamaha DXR15 MK3 is a 15" 2-Way Bi-Amped Active Loudspeaker delivering 134dB SPL and 2000W Class-D amplification, featuring Advanced FIR-X tuning, Drive Motion Calibration DSP, Bluetooth 5.0 streaming and wireless remote control.
The Yamaha DXR15 MK3 is the largest and most low-frequency capable model in the DXR MK3 series, delivering the deepest frequency range in the lineup with a bass response extending down to 46Hz.
Designed for live music, DJ events and professional sound reinforcement applications that demand strong, well-controlled low-frequency presence alongside the DXR series' characteristic clarity and precision, the DXR15 MK3 makes a compelling choice as a main front-of-house speaker for larger performances, events and venues. With the same 134dB SPL output as the DXR12 MK3 but with the additional low-end weight and body that only a 15" driver can deliver, the DXR15 MK3 brings the complete DXR MK3 package to those who need maximum low-frequency performance from a single full-range cabinet.
Premium Components & Advanced Amplification
The DXR15 MK3 features a 15" cone LF driver with a 3" voice coil — the largest in the DXR MK3 series — paired with a 1.75" diaphragm compression driver on a 1" throat HF unit, both engineered to Yamaha's exacting standards for high-durability and long-term reliability. The newly developed 2000W Class-D amplifier — delivering 1700W to the LF driver and 300W to the HF driver — is coupled with a switched power supply for smooth, stable operation and high-efficiency power delivery across demanding sustained use. The large-diameter horn secures directivity control across a wide frequency range with a 90° horizontal by 60° vertical coverage pattern, whilst optimised port positioning in the lightweight injection-moulded polypropylene enclosure reduces standing wave effects for cleaner, more accurate bass reproduction. Five-speed fan cooling ensures the amplifier maintains optimal operating temperature throughout extended high-power use.
Intelligent High-Performance DSP
The DXR15 MK3 is equipped with onboard 32-bit/96kHz DSP incorporating Yamaha's proprietary FIR-X tuning technology — providing FIR filtering and corrective EQ at a crossover frequency of 1.8kHz for exceptionally smooth phase characteristics and clear, distortion-free sound reproduction. Drive Motion Calibration corrects the motion of the LF driver using a proprietary DSP algorithm, ensuring the speaker's behaviour accurately follows the input signal and delivering clear, linear low-frequency performance that surpasses conventional limitations — particularly valuable in a 15" driver where controlling cone excursion and maintaining accuracy at high output levels is most challenging. An internal accelerometer automatically detects the speaker's orientation, with a switchable Auto V/H Position mode in the FOH/Main and Monitor DSP settings for streamlined setup. An intelligent feedback suppressor handles both handheld microphone feedback suppression and detection and setting of feedback-prone points for fixed microphones. DSP modes include FOH/Main, Monitor, DJ, Live Music, Speech and Off, with a selectable HPF between 50Hz and 118Hz at 12–48dB/octave.
Flexible Control & Connectivity
Two combo input connectors provide flexible analogue source connection — INPUT1 with a 20kΩ balanced impedance and maximum input level of +24dBu, and INPUT2 with a 6kΩ balanced impedance accommodating both line (+24dBu) and microphone (-6dBu) level signals. Two XLR outputs provide thru and DSP out options for easy system expansion and signal distribution. Bluetooth 5.0 (A2DP, SBC/AAC, Class 1) enables wireless audio streaming from smartphones and compatible devices. The rear-mounted LCD panel and encoder provide clear on-unit DSP mode selection, parametric EQ, delay, routing and preset recall, whilst the D-Remote app for iOS and Android enables full wireless remote control of all parameters for up to ten devices simultaneously with grouping for unified level and mute control.
Versatile Mounting & Transport
The DXR15 MK3 features two side rubber-coated handles, dual 35mm pole mount sockets at 0° and -7° down tilt, and a floor monitor angle of 52°. Comprehensive rigging points accommodate M10 eyebolts at the top and rear, M8 fixings at the bottom for the optional UB-DXR15A U-bracket, and side mounting points — supporting both vertical and horizontal fixed installation configurations. An optional speaker cover (SPCVR-DXR153) provides protection during transport, storage and outdoor use.

- When returning an item, please obtain a proof of postage receipt from the courier.
Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.
Please note: our returns policy is quite straightforward, but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:
- It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don't tell us you want to make a return, we don't know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.
- If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will assume that you are intending to keep it, and we will not authorise a return.
- We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72 hours of the return being received by us.
