The Wharfedale Pro DELTA AXF12 is a 12" 800W Continuous Bi-Amplified Active PA Loudspeaker featuring an advanced FIR filter DSP platform derived from the flagship WLA-1A system.
The Wharfedale Pro DELTA AXF12 is a significant upgrade to the established DELTA Active range, introducing a powerful new DSP platform using internal FIR filters whilst retaining the trusted birch plywood cabinet and custom Wharfedale Pro LF driver that have made the DELTA Active series a reliable choice for professional live sound and touring applications.
Derived directly from the development of Wharfedale Pro's flagship WLA-1A line array system, the upgraded FIR filter processing delivers precise magnitude and phase control, improved frequency response linearity and a more defined, consistent sound that sets the AXF series apart from conventional active loudspeakers in its class. Perfectly tuned for use with the DELTA AX15B and DELTA AX18B active subwoofers, the DELTA AXF12 unlocks the full potential of the DELTA platform for professional PA applications demanding both proven durability and cutting-edge sonic performance.
Enhanced Amplification & Backward Compatibility
The optimised Class-D amplifier module delivers 800W continuous and 1600W peak power — providing increased headroom and tighter, more dynamic performance compared to its predecessor — whilst maintaining complete backward compatibility with previous DELTA Active models. AXF amplifier modules are fully interchangeable with earlier DELTA Active cabinets and can be retro-fitted by service engineers with ease, protecting existing investments and simplifying fleet management for touring and rental companies. A high-efficiency SMPS power supply with universal mains input (100–120V / 220–240V, 50/60Hz) ensures consistent performance across worldwide operating voltages.
Premium 2-Way Driver Configuration
The DELTA AXF12 is built around a 12" custom Wharfedale Pro LF driver with a 3" voice coil and 8 Ohm impedance — chosen for high power handling, controlled excursion and consistent performance under sustained professional use. The high-frequency section features a compression driver with a 2" titanium diaphragm and 1.4" exit, delivering 50W HF power handling with the rigidity and high-temperature resistance that titanium diaphragms are valued for in professional touring applications. An elliptical waveguide provides a 90° horizontal by 45° vertical coverage pattern for precise, controlled sound distribution across the audience area, with a 2.1kHz crossover frequency providing clean driver integration across the full frequency range.
Versatile Connectivity & Deployment
The DELTA AXF12 accommodates a wide range of source connections via a combination XLR/¼" jack combo input alongside two RCA inputs, with a balanced input impedance of 20kΩ and a maximum input level of +22dBu. Mic (-40dBu) and line (0dBu) input sensitivity settings provide flexible gain structure for different source types. A switchable loop/mix balanced XLR line output provides flexible signal routing to additional speakers or subwoofers. The cabinet features six M10 rigging points for safe and secure flying, a dual-angle 35mm pole mount socket (0° and 10°) for stand-mounted deployment, and recessed handles for practical transportation — making the DELTA AXF12 equally at home in flown, stand-mounted and ground-stacked configurations.
Touring-Grade Construction
The DELTA AXF12 enclosure is constructed from birch plywood with a black Tough-Tone finish for long-term resistance to the knocks and abrasions of professional touring and installation use. The steel black powder-coated grille provides robust driver protection, and two recessed handles provide practical carry points for transportation and rigging.

Cut-off Times
Orders must be placed before 3:30pm to guarantee same-day dispatch. Any orders placed after this time are not guaranteed to be shipped the same day, and are more likely to be shipped the next working day.
To guarantee Saturday Delivery, orders must ideally be placed before 2pm.
We operate during office hours, Mon-Fri, 9am - 5pm, and are closed during the weekend.
Orders placed over the weekend or Friday after cut-off will be processed and shipped the following Monday (or Tuesday during bank holidays).
Mainland UK Delivery Charges
Note: Next-day services are classed as working days (Mon-Fri) and do not include weekends. Please choose Saturday delivery if you require the item over the weekend.
Please also note orders with a high number of boxes may be subject to an additional charge.

EU Import Tax
Any goods shipped outside of the UK, over a certain value, will incur an import tax. The cost and rate will depend on the country and the order value.
This is a legal requirement and MUST be paid prior to delivery in order to receive your goods. You will be contacted by the courier once the order is dispatched to pay the fee.
Failure to pay import tax when applicable will result in the order being shipped back to Audio Volt. Any returned goods sent back to us due to non-payment of import tax are NOT ELIGIBLE for a refund on the shipping charge.

Delivery Notes
On delivery, you must inspect the goods carefully for damage as Audio Volt is unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products unless the customer advises Audio Volt of such within three working days from the date of delivery.
60 Day Returns Policy
We ask that you follow these guidelines to help us process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible:
- Please keep your order reference to hand. This confirms your original order and gives us the necessary details to authorise the product's return.
- Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 (or email info@audiovolt.co.uk). We will then send you an RMA number and a returns form, which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s).
- If the order has been unpacked, re-package it to ensure that it is being returned in its original condition. Please make sure all items relating to the product are returned, including manuals and cables.
- When returning an item, please obtain a proof of postage receipt from the courier.
Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.
Please note: our returns policy is quite straightforward, but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:
- It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don't tell us you want to make a return, we don't know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.
- If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will assume that you are intending to keep it, and we will not authorise a return.
- We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72 hours of the return being received by us.
- Returned goods are liable for a restocking fee of 15% towards handling and repackaging if the order is not returned in its original, unopened packaging. This charge will be subject to our inspection of the returned goods.
- Delivery charges will not be refunded unless the delivered goods are faulty.
- Replacement products are dispatched immediately after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Audio Volt.
- Items that develop a fault within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 if you believe your item has developed a fault.
Finally, please remember that notifying us of your intention to apply for a return, saving the delivery paperwork and keeping the order in its original packaging will help both you and Audio Volt to process the return quickly.
