The Trantec S4.10H is a robust and reliable professional UHF wireless handheld microphone system designed for live vocal performances, presentations, conferences, houses of worship, schools and a wide range of event applications. Built around Trantec's fully synthesised PLL quartz tuning technology, the S4.10H delivers stable, interference-free UHF wireless performance with 16 selectable frequencies and support for up to 10 simultaneous channels — making it equally well suited to single microphone applications and larger multi-channel setups requiring several wireless systems operating concurrently.
The S4.10H is available in two frequency variants — Channel 70 and Channel 38 — please select your required version before adding to basket. Channel 70 operates within the licence-free UHF band, requiring no PMSE licence for use in the UK. Channel 38 offers an alternative frequency option and requires a PMSE licence for operation. Both variants deliver the same professional performance and feature set.
Reliable Diversity Reception
The S4.10H receiver features antenna diversity operation with a detachable antenna, ensuring consistent signal reception and minimising dropouts as the performer moves around the stage or venue. Receiver LEDs provide clear real-time monitoring of AF peak level, RF level and diversity channel A or B status — giving the operator a clear and instant overview of system performance at all times. Three squelch systems — Tone SQ, Carrier SQ and Noise SQ — work together to ensure a clean, noise-free output signal. The compact professional metal receiver chassis measures 215 x 39 x 102mm and can be used freestanding or rack-mounted in a standard 19" rack enclosure, with options for single or dual receiver mounting for permanent venue installations.
Handheld Transmitter
The S4.10H handheld transmitter delivers 10mW of RF carrier power with a maximum input SPL of 140dB for confident, distortion-free vocal capture at any volume level. Powered by a single AA alkaline battery, the transmitter provides approximately 10 hours of continuous use on a single battery — enough for a full day of back-to-back performances or events without the need for a battery change. The resin and coating finish transmitter measures 250 x 55mm and weighs just 245g with battery for comfortable extended handheld use.
