The Sennheiser EW-D ME2/835-S Dual Digital Wireless Microphone System combines the flexibility of a handheld transmitter with the discretion of a lavalier microphone, making it a versatile solution for live performance, speech, conferences, and places of worship. Operating in licence-free Channel 70 (823.2–831.8 MHz & 863.2–864.8 MHz), this system offers reliable wireless audio with secure transmission and outstanding clarity.
This system includes the EW-D SKM-S handheld transmitter with MMD 835 capsule, delivering the renowned sound of the dynamic cardioid e 835 capsule, ideal for vocals and speech with excellent feedback rejection. It also comes with the EW-D SK bodypack transmitter paired with the ME 2 omnidirectional lavalier microphone, offering a discreet solution for presenters, theatre, and broadcast use.
The EW-D platform provides a 134 dB input dynamic range and 24-bit digital UHF transmission, ensuring crystal-clear audio without the need for sensitivity adjustments. With up to 90 channels, 56 MHz tuning bandwidth, and 2,240 selectable frequencies, the system delivers dependable multi-channel operation. Setup is streamlined with the Sennheiser Smart Assist App, which enables Bluetooth® Low Energy connection for easy syncing, frequency management, and remote control.
Both transmitters provide up to 8 hours of battery life with AA batteries or up to 12 hours with the optional BA 70 rechargeable battery pack, ensuring reliable performance for long events.
