Delivering 400W RMS, a continuous maximum SPL of 126dB and an exceptional peak SPL of 132dB, the LIGNUM-12SUB provides the kind of deep, powerful and controlled bass reinforcement that large sports bars, game bars, high-intensity gyms, large sports facilities and similarly demanding commercial environments demand. Whether deployed alongside the LIGNUM-8 or LIGNUM-12 full-range speakers in a high-output system, or as a standalone low-frequency reinforcement solution in a larger distributed audio installation, the LIGNUM-12SUB delivers bass with authority, precision and remarkable fidelity.

High-Performance 12" Transducer

At the heart of the LIGNUM-12SUB is a 12" woofer featuring a pressed paper fibre cone, ferrite magnet and a substantial 65mm copper wire voice coil — significantly larger than the 38mm coil found in the LIGNUM-8SUB, providing greater thermal capacity, higher power handling and the ability to sustain high output levels over extended periods without degradation. With an exceptional sensitivity of 99dB at 1W/1m, the LIGNUM-12SUB is among the most acoustically efficient subwoofers in its class, delivering outstanding output levels from professional passive amplification systems whilst keeping energy consumption in proportion. Low total harmonic distortion ensures clean, defined bass reproduction even at the highest output levels, whilst the built-in bass reflex design maximises low-frequency extension and efficiency from the enclosure.

The LIGNUM-12SUB's omnidirectional low-frequency dispersion ensures uniform bass coverage throughout the listening area for seamless integration with any full-range speaker system. Flexible Connectivity & Satellite Speaker Support

The LIGNUM-12SUB provides comprehensive connectivity via both 2-pin safety Euroblock and 4-pole speaker connectors on both input and output sides, enabling straightforward integration with amplifiers, crossovers and full-range speakers, as well as easy loop-through connection for multi-speaker configurations. A dedicated 35mm pole mount socket on the top of the cabinet allows a LIGNUM full-range satellite speaker to be mounted directly above the subwoofer — creating a compact, self-contained satellite and subwoofer system that is both practical and professional in any installation environment.

Durable Construction & Versatile Mounting

The LIGNUM-12SUB's enclosure is constructed from birch plywood with a sprayed polyurea coating for excellent long-term durability in demanding commercial environments. A reinforced steel grille with acoustic foam and powder-coated finish provides robust driver protection and a clean, professional black finish. Five M8 mounting points offer flexible flying, wall mount and safety anchoring options, whilst VESA 100x100 compatibility (4 x M6) provides structured mounting solutions for permanent installation environments. Delivery Notes

On delivery, you must inspect the goods carefully for damage as Audio Volt is unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products unless the customer advises Audio Volt of such within three working days from the date of delivery.

EU Import Tax

Any goods shipped outside of the UK, over a certain value, will incur an import tax. The cost and rate will depend on the country and the order value.

This is a legal requirement and MUST be paid prior to delivery in order to receive your goods. You will be contacted by the courier once the order is dispatched to pay the fee.

Failure to pay import tax when applicable will result in the order being shipped back to Audio Volt. Any returned goods sent back to us due to non-payment of import tax are NOT ELIGIBLE for a refund on the shipping charge.

60 Day Returns Policy

We ask that you follow these guidelines to help us process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible:

1. Please keep your order reference to hand. This confirms your original order and gives us the necessary details to authorise the product’s return.

2. Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 (or e-mail info@audiovolt.co.uk). We will then send you an RMA number and a returns form, which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s).

3. (If the order has been unpacked) re-package it to ensure that it is being returned in its original condition. Please make sure all items relating to the product are returned, including manuals and cables.

4. When returning an item, please obtain a ‘proof of postage’ receipt from the Courier.

Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA Number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.

Please note: Our returns policy is quite straightforward, but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:

1. It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don’t tell us you want to make a return, we don’t know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.

2. If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will assume that you are intending to keep it, and we will not authorise a return.

3. We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72 hours of the return being received by us.

4. Returned goods are liable for a restocking fee of 15% towards handling and repackaging if the order is not returned in its original, unopened packaging. This charge will be subject to our inspection of the returned goods.

5. Delivery charges will not be refunded unless the delivered goods are faulty.

6. Replacement products are dispatched immediately after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Audio Volt.

7. Items that develop a fault within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 if you believe your item has developed a fault.

Finally, please remember that notifying us of your intention to apply for a return, saving the delivery paperwork and keeping the order in its original packaging will help both you and Audio Volt to process the return quickly.
