The Martin Audio CDD15 is a high-output, passive two-way loudspeaker system designed for installations that demand exceptional fidelity and coverage from a single enclosure. Ideal for medium-to-large venues, it is perfect for live music clubs, nightclubs, bars, restaurants, museums, convention centres, hotels, retail spaces, leisure centres and houses of worship.
Featuring Martin Audio’s patented Coaxial Differential Dispersion™ (CDD) technology, the CDD15 ensures consistent audience coverage across the listening area. It projects relatively more output to the rear of the audience while maintaining wide horizontal coverage near the speaker, creating smooth, even sound across the venue.
The coaxial driver combines a 15” (380mm) low-frequency driver with a 3” (75mm) voice coil and a 1.4” exit high-frequency compression driver with a 3” (75mm) titanium diaphragm. The LF and HF drivers operate as a true point-source, eliminating off-axis frequency anomalies and delivering coherent sound throughout the coverage area. A static waveguide maintains high-frequency dispersion while reducing beaming.
The CDD15 is housed in a robust birch plywood enclosure with a visually distinctive design. The coaxial driver can be rotated for horizontal or vertical mounting by removing the screw-free grille. It can be suspended from the ceiling using integrated eyebolt points or an optional horizontal yoke bracket, providing flexible installation options for a variety of venues.
With a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and 400W AES power handling, the CDD15 is capable of delivering very high sound pressure levels, making it ideal for foreground music and demanding performance spaces. It is finished in black (RAL9005) or white (RAL9016) as standard, with custom RAL colours available to order.
