Ecler SAMI-402 4-Channel 19" Analogue Stereo Rack Mixer
The Ecler SAMI-402 is a 4-Channel 19" Analogue Stereo Installation Rack Mixer delivering three MIC/LINE stereo inputs, one LINE stereo input, 3-band tone control, talkover priority and a MUTE remote control port.
Compact, professional and versatile 1RU mixer for retail, education, corporate, hospitality and sports and wellness installations.
The Ecler SAMI-402 has been designed specifically for professional fixed audio installations across a wide range of commercial environments — including retail stores, educational facilities, corporate offices, hospitality venues and sports and wellness spaces. In a compact 1RU 19" rack format, the SAMI-402 provides a well-specified four-channel analogue stereo mixing solution with three MIC/LINE stereo inputs and one dedicated LINE stereo input, accommodating a flexible combination of microphone and line-level sources from a single rack-mountable unit. The result is a clean, professional and highly practical mixer that simplifies installation audio system design without compromising on features or audio quality.
High-Quality Audio Performance
The SAMI-402 delivers excellent audio performance across all input types. Line inputs achieve a frequency response of 10Hz to 50kHz (-1dB), THD+Noise of less than 0.005% and a signal-to-noise ratio of greater than 100dB — figures that reflect the quality of Ecler's engineering heritage. Balanced MIC inputs achieve a frequency response of 10Hz to 30kHz (-1dB) and SNR greater than 85dB, with a common mode rejection ratio of greater than 60dB at 1kHz for clean, interference-free microphone amplification. All MIC inputs support +18V phantom power for condenser microphones, and microphone sensitivity can be fine-tuned via rear panel adjustment for precise level matching across different microphone types and installation scenarios.
Talkover, Tone Control & Flexible Output
The SAMI-402 includes a number of features specifically tailored for professional installation use. A 3-band tone control section — with Bass at 100Hz ±15dB, Mid at 2kHz ±15dB and Treble at 10kHz ±15dB — allows tonal shaping of the mix output to suit different room acoustics and system requirements. A talkover (priority) function is assignable from each MIC/LINE input over the mix bus, with a 2-second release time and -30dB ducking effect — ensuring microphone announcements are always clearly heard above background music. The main mix output is switchable between stereo and mono operation, with an additional AUX/REC output for recording or zone feed applications. Output levels are internally selectable at 0dB or +6dB to suit different downstream equipment requirements.
Remote Control & Safety Integration
The SAMI-402 includes a MUTE remote control input triggered by external dry contact closure — enabling straightforward integration with fire detection systems, emergency alert systems and other safety devices for automatic audio muting in an emergency. This makes the SAMI-402 a compliant and practical choice for commercial installations where fire safety integration is a requirement. Power LED, MUTE LED and VU-meter level LEDs provide clear front panel status monitoring at all times. The unit is passively cooled for silent operation and is supplied with a ±17.5VDC multi-plug external PSU, Euroblocks, rubber feet and mini jumpers.

60 Day Returns Policy
We ask that you follow these guidelines to help us process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible:
- Please keep your order reference to hand. This confirms your original order and gives us the necessary details to authorise the product's return.
- Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 (or email info@audiovolt.co.uk). We will then send you an RMA number and a returns form, which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s).
- If the order has been unpacked, re-package it to ensure that it is being returned in its original condition. Please make sure all items relating to the product are returned, including manuals and cables.
- When returning an item, please obtain a proof of postage receipt from the courier.
Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.
Please note: our returns policy is quite straightforward, but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:
- It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don't tell us you want to make a return, we don't know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.
- If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will assume that you are intending to keep it, and we will not authorise a return.
- We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72 hours of the return being received by us.
- Returned goods are liable for a restocking fee of 15% towards handling and repackaging if the order is not returned in its original, unopened packaging. This charge will be subject to our inspection of the returned goods.
- Delivery charges will not be refunded unless the delivered goods are faulty.
- Replacement products are dispatched immediately after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Audio Volt.
- Items that develop a fault within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369890 if you believe your item has developed a fault.
Finally, please remember that notifying us of your intention to apply for a return, saving the delivery paperwork and keeping the order in its original packaging will help both you and Audio Volt to process the return quickly.
